Overview
Our Senior Human Resources Generalist oversees and coordinates Human Resources functions including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration, and other areas as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent Human Resources/Personnel management experience.
Experience:
5 years of experience in a responsible Human Resources/ Personnel position in the private sector or a private/public sector, partnership, or healthcare setting.
Minimum of two (2) years Healthcare recruiting (Nurses, Physicians, Mental Health professionals to include Psychiatrists, Dentists, Psychologists, Social Workers, etc.) experience required.
Previous experience with iCIMS CRM/ATS a plus.
Licenses/Certifications:
None required.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all staff recruiting and hiring efforts. Ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies and positions are filled timely, according to client contract.
Coordinates staff development and training activities. Communicates training opportunities to staff.
Manages The Company personal training records, Responsible for the oversight of training records ensure that all training events are entered and recorded into the personnel training file. On a monthly basis sends out 90/60/30 day notices to staff of required training.
Responsible for coordinating with the Training Coordinator, New Employee Orientation and working with HR Assistant to ensure that tasks for orientation and onboarding are completed in required timelines.
Plans and coordinates employee recognition events, i.e. Monthly Employee Recognition Event, Holiday Party, mid-year event, Birthdays, etc. Oversees the Employee Recognition Committee.
Oversees special programs, projects, i.e. Employee Health Fairs, Employee Opinion Surveys, corporate initiatives, audits, etc.
Oversees and coordinates Random Drug Testing Program, assures testing is done quarterly and scheduled to assure a random selection is obtained on all shifts throughout the year
Acts as liaison with Unemployment Compensation outside vendor, assures requests for separation information is provided timely, coordinates witnesses for unemployment hearings and represents facility as necessary
Performs related duties as required and assigned by the HR Manager, meeting assigned due dates.
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
