Creative Financial Staffing is proud to be working with a nonprofit organization to identify an Internal Recruiter to work in their HR team within their Brockton, MA office.

About the Organization Seeking an Internal Recruiter:

  • Founded two decades ago, this group serves a population to historically disadvantaged groups and advocated for people with disabilities
  • They are a minority-led company, with leadership completely comprised of people of color
  • Present also in Boston and Springfield, they serve over 500 clients
  • The Internal Recruiter would join a small team, with the ability to also contribute in an HR Generalist capacity
Responsibilities of the Internal Recruiter:
  • Collaborate with the agency's leadership to identify current needs. This includes going onsite to understand the program's initiatives and the program member's responsibilities to effectively determine qualification criteria for each position to properly recruit for the openings.
  • Write job ads for current openings and post to social network platforms (LinkedIn), career pages and job boards.
  • Proactively source candidates through online channels and networking events
  • Design and implement employee referral programs
  • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
  • Report to Program Managers and the HR Director on the status of open positions
  • Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance
  • Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs
  • Update job descriptions (i.e., add tasks or modify requirements)
  • Answer candidates' queries regarding the application process
  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
  • Participate in job fairs to boost company's reputation
  • Help onboard new hires
  • Assist HR Director with ad hoc projects, as needed
Background Expected of the Internal Recruiter:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of internal talent acquisition or external recruiting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting
  • Strong customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to interact with diverse employees at all levels throughout the company
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
