Associate Scientist/Scientist, Process Research & Development

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our client is seeking an exceptional Associate Scientist/Scientist, Process R&D to join their team. The candidate will design and execute experiments to develop platform manufacturing capabilities and scale-up for our clients drug substance and drug product, from preclinical studies through proof-of-concept clinical studies. The ideal candidate will have experience performing process development activities for pharmaceutical technologies.

Primary Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. 1-3 years industry experience, or BS/MS + 5 years industry experience or equivalent in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, biology or related field
• Experience developing pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies, with experience in nucleic acid, nanoparticle, large molecule or novel biomanufacturing technologies preferred.
• Experience working in a matrixed CMC environment (supply chain, analytical development, and formulation development)
• Nanoparticle or mRNA manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with regulatory submissions preferred.
