Our group focuses mainly on synthetic/small molecules analytical characterization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Candidate will work with our Drug Substance Team to support their chemistry development by running analytical characterization on the samples (reaction samples, impurities, drug substance, raw materials).

  • Analytical characterization involves using LC, GC, KF and MS instruments on routine basis

  • Establish or follows established experimental design and performs routine analysis to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision using analytical techniques such as LC, GC etc. - Plans, conducts, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data to the working team

  • Engages coworkers in scientific discussions

  • Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with expertise in one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques

  • Effectively troubleshoots equipment and experimental difficulties

  • Participates in department-wide support efforts such as safety, scientific and laboratory committees Understands when to seek input and when to make independent judgments


Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree
OR
Bachelors degree and 2 years of (2 years of experience) in Analytical chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry or equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Analytical Development.

  • Expertise in Liquid and Gas Chromatography separations. Experience supporting Drug Substance development using analytical techniques such LC, GC, KF and MS.
