Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate, Immunology

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our Cambridge based client is in need of a talented BS/MS level immunologist to join their ranks. A background in immunology with experience in mammalian cell culture is key. Even more important is experience in in vivo pharmacology. If you are ready to join our exciting biotech client and take on a dynamic role within the company, please apply!

Primary Job Requirements:

• BS or MS in Biology, as well as 5+ years of experience is required. Prior industry experience is a strong plus.
• Expertise in immunology, cell biology, cell culture techniques, and assay development is required.
• Experience with FACS experimental procedures and analysis is also required.
• Familiarity with cytokine determination techniques: ELISA, AlphaLISA, Luminex, qPCR.
• Expertise in the isolation of primary immune cells, as well as mechanism of action studies.
• Expertise working with ex-vivo tumor tissue cultures is desirable.
• Expertise with basic in vivo tumor work in mice is required (IP injections, tumor measurement, tissue collection...).
• Familiarity with emerging new science and/or technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for developing creative solutions and for maintaining timelines.
• Ability to work as part of a team to execute experimental plans and deliver results. Strong data analysis skills are required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are a must.
