Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist - RNA Production

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our growing Cambridge based client is in need of talented associate level researchers to join their team! Specifically they are in need of hungry, ready to contribute at a high level scientists to help out with RNA production efforts. Does this sound like you? Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply novel protocols, processes, and analyses to optimize RNA synthesis and purification at scale
• Independently manage scheduling, interpret process data, and communicate results
• Routinely and reproducibly generate high quality RNA for in vitro and in vivo experimentation
• Actively participate within project teams and collaborate across interdisciplinary R&D programs
• Contribute to a positive and exciting work environment; contribute to a strong entrepreneurial and creative culture

Primary Job Requirements:

• B.S. in biology, biochemistry or a related discipline with at least two years of relevant post-graduate industry research experience
• Experience in RNA molecular biology, RNA synthesis and purification including FPLC and TFF, material stock management, and process development would be nice but can be trained on!
• Independent, collaborative, and very strong communication skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and excited to take on new challenges!
