Sr. Scientist, Translational Immunology

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our clinical stage, biologics focused, client within Cambridge is engineering a novel class of molecules to selectively engage and modulate targeted T cells. The team is focused developing transformative therapies of cancer, infectious disease and autoimmune diseases and has ushered multiple programs through IND and towards the clinic.

This team is currently seeking an experienced translational immunologist who has hands on experience in designing, directing and executing in vivo pharmacology studies within the immunology, immune-oncology or autoimmune space.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Directly plan, design, and execute immuno-pharmacology studies with the goal of understanding the activity, efficacy and pharmacodynamic properties of biologic drug candidates
• Communicate cross-functionally with the in vitro pharmacology team to develop ex viv assays to further evaluate T cell response and functionality
• Drive data collection from junior team and conduct data analyses and documentation
• Contribute to the company and strategic goals but providing technical expertise in immunology and pharmacology

Primary Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, Tumor Biology or related field with 0-4 years of experience
• Strong foundational understanding of mouse models of inflammation or autoimmunity with strong hands on experience in various animal care and dosing
• Experience in tissue processing, FACS phenotyping, functional analysis of immune cells via FLOW and ELISpot
