Job description

At CoFi, we're on a mission to vastly improve the payment experience for medical procedures for surgical practices, facilities, and patients alike.

Founded by a results-driven team of domain experts, backed by payments-focused VCs, angels, and surgeon KOLs, CoFi is solving well-articulated and high-impact, yet unaddressed problems for premium medical practices, through our SAAS-based payments offering.

CoFi's initial focus has been in ophthalmology. Over 300 eye care practices have joined the CoFi platform in just our first months since launch and we are just getting started. We are building a talented team that can take us from this early traction and adoption growth, to becoming a standard tool for surgical practices.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Please note, we are headquartered in Metro West Boston with a preference for the role being a hybrid in-office/remote one. However, this role can be remote. Boston-area candidates are ideal and candidates from EST (strongly preferred) and CST are welcome to apply.

What you'll do:

  • Demo the CoFi product to surgeons, administrators, and other team members at surgical and provider practices, and surgical facilities
  • Manage pre- and post-demo communication with prospective customers, from lead intake through close
  • Own the initial customer onboarding mechanics, through hand-off to the partner success team
  • Diligently utilize the CRM, and deliver timely reports to the CEO
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine our messaging, and with Product to share key customer insights/feedback
  • Help author our sales process and our first sales playbook
  • Represent the company at conferences, tradeshows, and exhibitor events nationally.
  • Regularly update CoFi leadership on learnings, and suggest strategies, tactics, and process changes for future improvements

What we need:

  • At least five years of experience at a high-growth SaaS company in a demoing and closing sales role
  • Experience in healthcare software is a significant plus
  • Real experience in an entrepreneurial environment; someone who is unafraid to build the playbook as they go, roll up their sleeves, and execute through change
  • Polished presenter and communicator, with executive presence to sell to surgeons and the C-suite at large practices and healthcare entities
  • A professional with a high degree of self-awareness and empathy
  • The ability to rapidly learn and completely internalize the problems CoFi is solving, customer and influencer profiles and personas, and the depth of the CoFi product
  • An individual with a positive orientation toward work and task execution, and an athlete's belief in teams and winning together

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Early-stage stock options
  • Healthcare reimbursement program
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Flexible time off policy
