Enterprise Architect ERP
The ERP Enterprise Architect works with business stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Product development, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to support the development of ERP strategy and collaborates with all levels of management to support the successful execution of that strategy. The ERP Enterprise Architect sets and maintains the holistic vison for the ERP Technology based on the business strategy and works with Solution Architects (SA) to define the activities to support architecture and technical scope to achieve the business strategy. The ERP Enterprise Architect acts as a liaison between Business Stakeholders, Digital portfolio leadership and IT senior management to ensure effective alignment across the enterprise. The ERP Enterprise Architect collects objectives, generates solution options and provides recommendations that are applicable across the entire business. The ERP Enterprise Architect working with Portfolio leadership and IT leadership drives delivery of ERP capabilities & solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key Business stakeholders in Sales, Supply chain & Finance to help reach ERP enterprise architecture decisions to support business goals.
- Ensure alignment of ERP strategy and planning with company's business goals, assuming strategic architecture responsibility for Enterprise ERP systems
- Create ERP capability models and roadmaps in support of business strategies balancing short- and long-term goals.
- Develop multiyear ERP roadmaps and align capability models to technology roadmaps to realize business strategies.
- Develop current and future state ERP Architecture.
- Perform industry and technology research & evaluation, writing point of view (POV) and sharing perspectives on a technology's suitability for Bose.
- Establish standards & principles and the governance frameworks.
- Provide technical consultation, meeting with colleagues to provide technical expertise and perspective.
- Build employee knowledge and skills in ERP.
- Participate in the development of policies, standards, principles, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of ERP Tools and technologies within the enterprise.
- Work with Solution Architects (SAs) to ensure ERP solutions are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with changing business needs.
- Promote concepts of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow.
- Ensure adequate risk management of IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
- Drive holistic strategy for ERP strategy across multiple business divisions and business functions.
- Maintain and rationalize ERP landscape as part of the overall Bose systems landscape
- Drive realization of the ERP Roadmap.
Qualifications & Education:
- 15+ years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience in leading architecture for enterprise systems and applications, including driving vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Experience in developing cost-effective, highly scalable, and available secure enterprise ERP solutions on a global scale
- Comprehensive knowledge of ERP capabilities including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay Finance to Manage, Hire to Retire, Supply chain Planning & Manufacturing.
- Strong Business process knowledge in Sales, Finance, Supply chain and Manufacturing.
- Deep hands on Functional and Technical experience in multiple modules of SAP ECC.
- S/4 HANA experience is a plus.
- Full lifecycle ERP (preferably SAP) implementation experience.
- Experience with Global ERP roll out preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise applications, suites, and platforms
- Experienced with application lifecycle management processes (SDLC etc)
- Experience in Financial planning, portfolio planning, business analysis and TCO models
- Knowledge of IT governance and operations
- Project/Program management experience
- Expert communication skills, written & spoken
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation across teams
