JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Operations Business Analyst will work with the Director of Commercial Operations and Global Commercial Management Team to support sales planning & analysis. In this newly created role, the team will look to the Business Analyst to help establish/streamline policies and procedures throughout the department, support best practices in sales forecasting, pricing, reporting, and communications. The Business Analyst's responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, planning, and sales process optimization. Ideal candidates will have Business Analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment. Additionally, the Business Analyst will be asked to improve on the current standardized reporting with greater efficiency and increased communication throughout the commercial and executive management team.
Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze key metrics - sales revenue, pricing, margin, pipeline growth, quota attainment.
- Collect, consolidate, and generate sales forecasts (month and quarter focus).
- Compile key pieces of information related to performance against commercial objectives to be reviewed by Management and report approved plans to Finance for processing.
- Manage and maintain customer and business unit pricing models
- Work with sales on new opportunities to ensure quoted pricing meets company targets Proactively analyzes win-loss data and reports on key findings to leadership.
- Develop presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements from CRM and marketing applications.
- Reporting and analysis for the Commercial department, including executive reporting of sales and marketing results, key metrics and KPIs, campaign tracking and analysis, and ad hoc strategic analysis.
- Implements and manages reports and dashboards in CRM and/or business analytic tools ensuring regional sales, business unit, and executive leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports and assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing, or Mathematics
- 3+ Years' Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tool knowledge
