Job description

Monarch is a Adult Day Health Center in Lowell,MA which is a Day program for Adults with a wide range of mental health disabilities and physical disabilities/ limitations. Monarch is a place for Adults to come to and enjoy their day and socialize with their peers/staff vs. being at home alone self isolating. Monarch is also a place for our elderly loved ones to get the care they need while their loved ones are away at work.

We are seeking a fun, outgoing and creative assistant to help on the floor with running some group activities. (Activities may include things like doing exercise with our Members, running BINGO, assisting with Arts & Crafts, card games like black jack, corn hole, karaoke days, nail care, group discussions, family feud ext.)

Being bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Khmer would be super helpful as some members only speak Spanish or Khmer language but it is not required

Having a car and license is helpful but not required

Being creative is the most important requirement for this job because some of our members enjoy arts and crafts so being able to come up with DIY crafts, painting projects ext. would be super helpful

We also plan birthday parties, holiday parties, themed days (pajama days, jersey days ext.) and other special events for our members so being good at decorating is a plus

I'd really like a partner who is fun, silly, energetic, loves to laugh. Someone who is a self starter but also someone that works as a team as sometimes we are helping out in kitchen or cleaning if we aren't busy

We get to dress up for our themed days too, which is always fun! I love pajama day!

In the summer we get to go to the beach, flea markets, boulevard ext. with our members

Our days of operation are Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 1:30PM we are hoping to get back to fulltime hours in the future

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Center is cleaned daily
Staff wears mask
Medical and Religious exemption from the vaccine is ok but most staff is vaccinated
