  • Support multiscale primary recovery, chromatography and TFF process validation studies to assess process suitability for clinical and commercial manufacturing.
  • Support evaluation of downstream process robustness through risk assessments, DOE approaches, characterization, and in-process control evaluation in collaboration with MSAT and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain diligent and organized records.
  • Clearly communicate results and recommendations to colleagues, team members, and supervisors to support process development decision-making.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or M.S. in chemical engineering, bioengineering, biochemistry, biophysics, biology, or related discipline with 2-4 or 0-2 years of experience, respectively (title can be adjusted based on experience)

  • Relevant downstream process development experience in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry is highly desired

  • Experience with multiple chromatography modalities, column packing and validation, AKTA purifiers and Unicorn software is a plus

  • Understanding of standard molecular biology techniques, including characterization of nucleic acids and proteins is a plus

  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative work environment is required
