Job description

Human Resources Coordinator Norwell, MA. $27. to 30 hr.

Our client the worlds largest retailer of diamond jewelry needs to cover HR Coordinator position for four months plus .

This position will be in office!

The HR Coordinator handles HR duties including processing of new hires, benefits administration, HR reporting, employee engagement, and processing of separations. Coordinates and facilitates orientations. Maintains HRIS data files and verifies data integrity. Has responsibility for selected projects and activities including weekly HR intranet articles, scheduling employee lunch & learns, facilitating corporate wellness events, etc. Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources on all personnel matters. Performs customer service functions by answering requests and questions from employees, management and the general public. Performs clerical functions such as data entry, filing, faxing, and preparing correspondence. Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects and reports. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements

  • Some HR experience needed
  • Working knowledge of employment laws preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse population
  • Highly organized, accurate and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with varying priorities simultaneously
  • Proactive approach, strong follow-up, flexibility, and a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work with discretion regarding highly confidential, time-sensitive materials and issues
  • Must be highly proficient with standard Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and interest in learning new software and developing process
