The Role: Senior Recruiter

Are you interested in working in an environment that is fast paced and growing quickly? Would you like to be involved in playing a large part in shaping the future of Cognex by hiring bright and talented individuals? In this role, you will use a consultative approach in partnering directly with hiring Managers across the business. With direction from the Recruiting Manager and in collaboration with the hiring Managers, you will have the autonomy to shape and deliver upon your recruitment plans. Cognex is fast paced and we are looking to hire quickly as we continue to grow. We will never sacrifice on the quality of the candidates that we bring onto our team, as cultural fit is also a key component in hiring.

Essential Functions

* The primary focus of this role is full cycle recruitment - sourcing and recruiting for technical roles for our Engineering groups

* Multi-tasking and picking up additional requisitions in other organizations as volume dictates is needed

* Partner with the Hiring Managers to complete a detailed job scope to determine position specifications

* Screen candidates in order to gauge interest, salary and cultural fit

* Devise creative sourcing techniques to deliver a strong candidate pipeline while minimizing the use of external agencies

* Ensure an exceptional candidate experience for Cognex applicants from the interview stage all the way through to the offer and onboarding step

* Partner with Recruiting Manager on projects such as the Employee Referral program and Employer Branding

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Experience recruiting for technical positions in a corporate environment

* Skilled at using LinkedIn and other methods to engage with passive job seekers

* Continual development of creative sourcing techniques aimed at finding technical talent

* Capable of prioritizing multiple requisitions

* Understanding and ability to recruit in a highly competitive market

* Must have a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

* Ability to be flexible and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business

* Knowledge of Workday desired or other applicant tracking systems

Minimum Education and Work Experience Required:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

* 5+ years of technical recruitment needed
