Purple Carrot is on a mission to cultivate the plant based revolution, one meal at a time. We are looking for an onsite Video Producer to join our team. As an integral part of the Creative Team, you will join forces with the Creative Director (to whom you will also report) in our continued effort to help people eat more plants!

This position will play an important role in growing the diversified media arm of Purple Carrot across digital, audio, and streaming.

As the Video Producer, you will be focused on staying on top of trends in motion design and social media to generate new creative ideas to incorporate motion graphics into our work that will attract attention and stand out from competitors.

Location

* Open to candidates able to commute to our Needham MA office
* Travel: as needed

On the Plate

* Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, produce concept sketches and quick concept edits.
* Storyboard, design, execute and capture short form video that will be used on social media, YouTube, digital advertising, blog and more.
* Edit and animate sections of video that will be integrated into larger video projects, including intros/outros, and live action footage.
* Work closely with the Creative Director/Brand Director to ensure storyboards and projects meet requirements and are consistent with company branding.
* Align with visual style guides set forth by the Creative Team and ensure consistency across all projects.

Main Ingredients for the Role

* 5+ years of experience in video production management.
* Able to tell a story, convey a message and communicate an idea using video, all while engaging the audience and making sure it meets our brand guidelines.

* Must have strong attention to detail.

* Ensure all requested changes are done correctly.
* Able to proofread and spot typos, and catch and correct small inconsistencies and errors in work.

* Strong organizational skills and solid time management skills with a strong sense of urgency, ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects and deadlines.
* Comfortable with collaborative process, open to critiques and changes to a project. Must be able to work well with others, both within the team and in the field, to create a finished product.
* Must have strong experience and expertise using the full Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere/After Effects) and in motion graphic design and editing software.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Able to commute to the office in Needham.
