Principal Responsibilities:
Are you a people person with a strong service orientation and excellent writing skills who is excited about being a key part of a vibrant community organization? JCC Greater Boston is seeking an individual to help us pioneer this dynamic new role. This role will be part time, averaging 20 hours per week with seasonal variability. It will be a hybrid role with some flexibility to work from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The JCC Greater Boston Recruiting Coordinator will facilitate JCC Greater Boston's job posting and early screening processes. He/she/they will:
- Facilitate the job definition and posting process including: gathering manager's requirements, research (if needed), drafting job descriptions, coordinating the editing/approval process and posting jobs to organizational and job search sites. Manage postings (edits and removals).
- Help JCCGB identify and use new venues to use for publicizing openings.
- Screen resumes and work with hiring managers to determine candidates to be contacted. Support JCCGB goals of attracting a diverse set of candidates for consideration, modeling JCCGB's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
- May be asked to identify candidates to be contacted and make recruiting calls, conduct phone screens and assess candidates against the stated qualifications for the role.
- Represent JCC Greater Boston to candidates, creating strong positive first impressions. Ensure an excellent candidate experience with responsiveness and timely follow-through. Serve as a point of contact for questions and support during the recruitment/interview process.
- Assist hiring managers with scheduling and, potentially, first interviews and/or reference checks.
- Audit job boards to ensure our postings are visible
- Other duties as required by business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Approach: Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times. Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude.
Personal/Interpersonal: Customer service orientation. A warm and enthusiastic style which puts applicants at ease and represents JBBGB well. Able to build strong, service oriented relationships with hiring managers. A team player with a collaborative nature and a strong drive to co-create a positive work environment. Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Analytical: Inquisitive personality, looking to find the answer when it is not readily present. Possess basic analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong listening, questioning and note taking skills.
Organizational: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines. Committed to supporting the JCC Greater Boston goals of hiring a capable, diverse workforce. Flexible and adaptive to change. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. At least one-year administrative experience. Experience with Microsoft Suite. Able and willing to learn new software.
COVID: JCC Greater Boston requires that new employees be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 at time of hire. The JCC will consider requests for medical or religious exemption that do not pose undue hardship or a direct threat to health or safety.
