First Aid Beauty is a rapidly expanding skincare brand that is sold at Sephora, Ulta, QVC and several international partners. First Aid Beauty was acquired by P&G, a multi-billion dollar consumer goods conglomerate in 2018 and the candidate who will be hired in this role will be a P&G employee, whose work will focus on First Aid Beauty.

The Senior accountant/ Senior financial Analyst position, reporting to the Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller, will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting and analytical duties. It is a key role within the accounting group and will support the team with month-end close activities and preparation of journal entries and reconciliations. The role will also provide support and oversee the daily bookkeeping in areas such as inventory transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recording of inventory transactions.
• Monthly inventory reconciliations and maintenance
• Oversee and review A/R and A/P activity.
• E-Commerce daily sales uploads and daily/monthly reconciliations
• Maintain balance sheet accounts and related reconciliations
• Maintain fixed assets and post monthly depreciation
• Monthly journal entries for reserves and accruals
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statement
• Work on special projects as needed

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in accounting/finance from a four-year college or university required. 3-5 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing/inventory work environment.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of costing and production methods in a manufacturing environment.
