Responsibilities:
Awake overnight counselors provide support to individuals who live in the residential program during night hours.

Candidates must have the ability to remain awake and alert during the overnight shift. The awake overnight staff are responsible for providing a safe, secure environment for the individuals we provide services to. Overnight staff complete basic housekeeping, filing, medication counts, and may administer medications. There will also be specific requirements, such as lifting, assisted daily living skills, morning transports and/or other necessary supports. Overnight staff must be able to respond to any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services/Social Services related field preferred or experience and/or internship working with youth or young adults.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/HiSET.

Valid driver's license.

Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word.

CPR, First Aid, MAP (Medication Administration Program) and SOLVE (Strategies of Limiting Violent Episodes) certified or certifiable. Open Sky Community Services provides all required trainings.
