Title: Manager II SC Strategy

Location: Quincy, MA


Position Summary:

This individual is responsible to lead the development of key strategic elements that will bring the Supply Chain Strategy to life. This individual is responsible for managing the ambitions and outcomes of the forward-looking vision for overall Supply Chain Strategy. This role serves as the link between the SC Strategy team and Supply Chain functions through effective coordination and facilitation of hand-offs. In this position, the individual will help thread together cohesive short and long-term plans to help drive the strategy to activation. Key accountabilities of this role include developing strategy plans and road mapping those plans over an extended time horizon. This individual will partner closely with individuals at all levels of the organization including Supply Chain, IT, Commercial teams, and the brands to ensure alignment. This role will report to the Director Supply Chain Strategy.


  • Leads the development of long-range strategy planning and the translation of long-term plans into annual plans for the business
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to activate supply chain ambitions
  • Assess company goals and objectives to determine appropriate strategy and initiatives, as well as their relative priority
  • Lead and/or support critical strategy priorities to deliver new capabilities (general management, governance, milestone management, etc.)
  • Develop and continuously pursue innovative concepts and strategies that bring added depth and breadth to the omnichannel supply chain strategy
  • Develop executive level presentations utilizing the art of storytelling to drive strategy development, refinement and business case management to secure necessary buy-in and influence to move the strategy work forward
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and implement strategies and tactics that advance our Supply Chain ambitions
  • Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional supply chain solutions that align Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives.
  • Actively maintain knowledge of developments and innovations across the market to determine applicability to ADUSA Supply Chain Regularly facilitate leadership team conversations to review progress and updates to the strategic plans.
  • Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth within the Supply Chain strategy.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 8+ years experience
  • Similar role elsewhere and/or consulting experience preferred
