Position Summary:
The Marketing Analyst position is an independent role that both directly supports and analyzes the corporate marketing activities of Envision Bank for impact, cost, and overall effectiveness. This role reports directly to the VP of Corporate Marketing & Communications and serves as a back-up to the VP.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analytics and Reporting
- Possess a balance of analytical and strategic thinking skills, while being focused on producing and executing multiple quality marketing campaigns, under quick deadlines, and be able to respond quickly and accurately to change.
- Analyze Performance & Recommend Opportunities: Utilize an in-depth understanding of our data and vendor data to derive insights, deepen understanding of our customers and their behaviors, identify actionable, analytically driven insights to improve business performance and collaborate on growth strategies.
- Interpret data, formulate reports, generate recommendations for campaign optimizations based on analytical findings and forecast campaign results based on historical campaign performance.
- Work within cross-functional teams, using data and analytics and technologies to drive decisioning.
- Map and pull data to produce campaign performance reports; QA/QC data and report output to ensure accuracy.
- Demonstrate strong business and analytical acumen when reviewing data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (surveys, questionnaires, opinion polls).
- Monitor sales performance against KPIs.
- Assist in development of reports, providing content and writing of key observations.
- Continually seek out and explore new vendor capabilities and data sources.
- Event Management/Community Outreach: Leads the coordination all community and public relations events (e.g., tournaments, dinners, community events). Responsibilities include planning, preparation, vendor selection/management, contract negotiation, communication, advertising, premiums and execution. Collaborate with enterprise-wide colleagues to coordinate their participation in events. Assist with managing in-house event opportunities. Expect 25% travel to events.
Administration
- Develop weekly reporting for Retail on customer segment performance, trends, and key behavior drivers.
- Sponsorships/Donations/Envision Bank Foundation: Assist in the management of the charitable giving and scholarship processes, with a focus on meeting requirements of CRA guidelines. Maintain donation database and marketing calendar.
- Budgeting: Forecasting and managing Corporate Marketing's budget, including approving expenses within established authorities and allocating invoices to appropriate GLs and Cost Centers.
- Provide administrative support for the SVP of Retail and Corporate Marketing.
- Responsible for the functionality and coordination of the department's activities, such as monitoring and managing SVP of Retail and Corporate Marketing's email, processing expenses and managing calendars.
- Demonstrate flexibility and the willingness to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the Bank.
- Adhere to Bank policies and procedures. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Monitor and track Compliance approval of all customer communications and marketing components as well as regular audit of CMS.
- Complete all required compliance and security training within the assigned timeframes with passing scores, demonstrating understanding of regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements:
- BS in Marketing or Data Analysis or the equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to organize and interpret complex data sets while also demonstrating the ability to manage competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong independent judgement and function with minimal supervision.
- Well-organized and have a customer-centric approach with outstanding communication and people skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Access, Business Analytics and/or similar analysis applications, and social media platforms.
Physical Demands/Conditions: General office environment, with perhaps some local travel. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending required. Ability to hear and communicate with others.
Equipment Used: General office equipment, including but not limited to, computer, fax machine, calculator, multi-line phone, copier, and data projector.
