Overview

Human Resources Generalist

Cutting edge environmental services firm is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who has a passion for HR and a strong commitment to service. The individual will be responsible for the Human Resource issues including but not limited to Employee Engagement & Staff Retention, New Hire Orientation, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, HRIS Support, Benefit & Leave Administration and any other issues relevant to the success of our employees.

Essential responsibilities and duties:

* Liaison with new and existing employees on Benefits Administration.
* Monitor benefits administration to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Creates reporting from the HRIS System as needed.
* Build a strong working relationship with our Payroll and Talent Acquisition Departments.
* Interface with other department managers and corporate support functions to insure proper workflow and quality of service.
* Creates offer letters for new hires.
* Keeps employee records up-to-date in our on-line personnel software.
* Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including reports, logs, and recordkeeping through quarterly department audits.

Desired Skills:

* Acts as the liaison to all employees within the Triumvirate organization to support, foster, and develop employees.
* Drives a completely safety focused culture and works closely with our Compliance Department.
* Conducts exit interviews as needed.
* Experience managing the performance review process.

Minimum Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
* 2-5 years of HR Generalist experience in a service industry with an emphasis in HRIS & Administration.
* Solid understanding of labor and benefit law and administration.
* Great desire to grow their HR experience.
* Strong ability to multi task.
* Affinity for hands-on style.
* PHR, SPHR, certification strongly recommended. If currently not certified, must be willing and able to become certified within one (1) year.
