Job description
DUTIES:
Under general supervision, independently performs various student related technical duties related to receiving and processing student information into the student information system, district intranet and student assessment verification.
1. Responsible to the Building Principal and will work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator.
2. Enter data into various systems in order to maintain proper and accurate records.
3. Maintain discretion when working with teachers, counselors, administrators, students, and parents
4. Foster a positive learning environment
5. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High Diploma or equivalent (GED), or Associate's Degree preferred
2. Have adequate technology skills to effectively navigate the district's Student Information System (PowerSchool)
3. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, principals/administrators and other teachers orally and in writing
4. Experience working with students who have experienced educational disengagement
5. Able to work effectively and have a good understanding of the interests and needs of the districts' most at risk students
6. Experience in working collaboratively in schools and instructional programs
7. Ability to work in a fast-past diverse educational setting
8. Computer literacy required
9. Exhibit organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills
10. Bi-lingual preferred.
11. Must be a resident of Springfield
