Position Overview: Human Resources Generalist is a Full Time Position with Benefits

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Generalist that is willing to work in an ever changing ambulance operations environment. Flexibility is a key component in the success of this role within our company.

We are looking for a skilled HR Generalist to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through job design, recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Manage the recruitment, selection process, and new hire training process
  • Maintain benefits program
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR reports
  • Manage Employee Management System.
  • Process Payroll
  • Pay employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Equivalent Work Experience is required.
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to easily navigate databases are required.
  • 2 or more years of supervisory / management experience is desirable
  • Prior working knowledge of management, sales, or HR is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and relationship building skills are essential to the success of this role.
