Overview

Responsibilities

The HR Operations Manager is a key member of the Human Resources team and will oversee the HR Operations function including onboarding, employee benefits, HRIS, total rewards programs, and wellness programs:

* Participate, contribute, and lead the proactive review and implementation of process improvements
* Oversee benefit programs and employee benefits changes, including enrollments and terminations
* Provide and oversee general benefits support to employees as needed
* Coordinate and oversee Open Enrollment process including development of materials, communications, and system testing
* Maintain and oversee employee personnel records and HR systems to ensure compliance and accurate confidential employee information
* Participate and lead in efforts to improve and maintain HR systems and applications
* Assist with employment work authorizations for non-US workers, including coordination of paperwork with outside attorney and communications with employees and candidates
* Oversee timely and accurately complete requests for employee information including employment verifications and unemployment insurance claims
* Provide data or materials requested by other departments for compliance or audit requests
* Contribute and lead a range of other HR initiatives including learning programs, communications initiatives, and other projects as needed
* Oversee Onboarding new hires and integrate into the company's culture and total rewards programs
* Administer and maintain stock programs
* Maintain knowledge of changes in benefits laws and regulations and review established programs and processes for compliance
* Oversee administration of leaves of absences, disability, and workers' compensation claims.
* Oversee database of job descriptions for all employees
* Liaison with payroll administrator and ADP
* Maintain and administer compensation and benefit reports and files
* Assist with annual company-wide merit and performance review process
* Oversee and plan wellness related programs and events
* Implement and manage employee recognition program
* Manage HR Specialist(s)

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree
* 6+ years of experience in human resources, particularly HRIS, benefits, and compensation
* Previous people management experience
* Advanced understanding of MS Excel and/or other database management systems
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Strong analytical skills, experience with reporting and data analysis; Experience with ADP preferred
* Solid expertise prioritizing and multi-tasking
* Collaborative team member with excellent organization skills, attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and follow through
* Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Demonstrate ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment
