Principal Statistician, Biostatistics

Job Scope & Purpose:

Our Boston area client is seeking a principal statistician to join their biostatics team. The incumbent will provide statistical expertise in designing efficient clinical trials and collaborate with the clinical trial team to support study conduct, analysis, and reporting. Applicants should have prior statistical programming experience for advanced statistical methodologies. Primary Job Requirements:

• M.S., Biostatistics or equivalent with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or equivalent experience, or Ph.D. in Biostatistics or equivalent with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or equivalent experience.
• Oncology experience preferred?
• Good understanding of advanced clinical trial design and statistical analysis methodologies
• Good statistical programming skills using SAS and other statistical software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team
• Understand good clinical practice guidelines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
