Job description

Battery Resourcers is revolutionizing the production of lithium-ion battery materials by establishing a clean and sustainable supply chain using recycled feedstock. Its patented Hydro-to-Cathode™ technology directly synthesizes new cathode materials from spent lithium-ion cells more efficiently than traditional methods, resulting in reduced cost, improved performance, and lowered GHG emissions. The results are lower cost, better performance batteries with fewer discarded in landfill, a cleaner manufacturing process, and a truly sustainable closed-loop circular battery economy. Battery Resourcers is taking the lithium-ion battery industry to a higher level.

The recruiter is responsible for implanting best practices and drive recruiting activities. Identify top talent, talent sourcing and related HR activities. This position reports to the VP of Human Resources

Responsibilities for Recruiter

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Take ownership of candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Perform reference checks as need
  • Maintain up to date recruiting activity and readily available.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Build and manage relationships with third party Recruiters / placement agencies
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Qualifications for Recruiter

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
  • Experience recruiting technical talent and skilled labour
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenue

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
