Job description


We have an exciting direct-hire opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist at a client North of Boston.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The primary point of contact for all HR-related topics
  • Administration of all Payroll activities
  • Full-cycle recruitment, including the development of job descriptions, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and employment offers.
  • Management of 401k contribution funding and non-discrimination testing
  • Benefit management including, Health, STD, LTD, Life, and Dental coverage
  • Collaboration with senior leaders, managers, and supervisors to coach and resolve performance management and employee relations issues
  • Update, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures in the employee handbook
  • Assist in performance and compensation plan management



REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years' experience in a Human Resources role
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and impact of employment/labor laws and regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, PFML, COBRA, Earned Sick Leave, FLSA, I-9, and Background Checks
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office
