HUMAN RESOURCES RECRUITER- FULL-TIME POSITION - MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND. The site office for the recruiter position will be in Worcester MA.

This position will be based out of the Worcester, MA area and will be recruiting for and staffing afterschool programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

In this exciting role, you'll have the chance to do the following:
- Manage all aspects of recruitment for multi-site programs to ensure internal and legal compliance standards are achieved.
- Understand the process of hiring for the start-up of new area programs as well as the "crunch" time for staffing for the school year (June September)
- Source candidates for open positions through online job sites, resume-search outreach, web, career fairs, job expos, networking, and employee referral program.
- Ensure applicants are qualified by matching education, experience, licensing and salary requirements, with specific job requirements.
- Screen and schedule phone or in-person interviews with Area Managers.
- Manage the pre-employment process to include background checks, references, and complying with state licensing standards.
- Conduct the new hire human resources orientation to ensure candidates have a complete understanding and realistic picture of job responsibilities, compensation, training, work schedule, benefits, and AlphaBEST's mission, values, and culture.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee and HR related information.
- Attend job fairs, answering questions as it relates to employment
- Provide excellent and timely service to both internal customers (team members) and candidates.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication at all levels internal and external to the organization.
- Assist with other HR projects as time permits.
- Associate degree required: BA degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 1-3 years' experience as a Recruiter, Recruiting coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills with a track record of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong computer literacy, with MS office expertise.
- Must be willing to travel
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated and an independent learner.
- Basic skills in other areas of Human Resources (performance, compensation, etc.) preferred, but not required.
