If you're looking for a growth opportunity, join us at XPO.As a Pricing Analyst, you will review and analyze the pricing of our services compared to the published or disclosed prices of competitors in the marketplace. Your focus will be on creating profitable rates for new and existing customers based on customer shipping patterns, profile characteristics and a competitive environment. On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and the opportunity to participate in a company incentive plan.What you'll do on a typical day:Review pricing and understand contract and tariff applicationsPerform detailed costing analysis and develop pricing options to present to Sales team for customer negotiations; use different pricing scenarios to rate shipments and compare net resultsConduct revenue management and cost analysis for new and existing customers; review shipping patterns and characteristics to identify opportunities for increased yields, improved network density and reduced costsRequest customer profiles and update cost model accordinglyUnderstand and utilize the Base V auto rating system, including inputs, capabilities and limitationsIdentify rating problems and initiate resolutions to ensure correct invoicing; provide answers and quotes for requests in a timely mannerPerform initial setup of Off Bill Incentive (OBI) programsWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work or military experience1 year of experience in quantitative analysisAbility to use computer-generated decision support modelingIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics or Finance Master's degreeExperience with SQL and statistical packages Experience working in the LTL industryStrong interpersonal skillsSolid organizational and analytical skillsAbility to multitask and manage deadlinesBe part of something big.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
