Position Description

Position summary:

* Develops and oversees execution of equipment installation and validation processes.
* Maintains equipment and tool Preventative Maintenance and Calibration records.
* Supports manufacturing operations through troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.

Role and Responsibilities:

* Identify and troubleshoot process and equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions.
* Develop, procure, assemble, or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
* Develop and execute new Process and Equipment Validations (IQ, OQ, PQ).
* Maintains Calibration schedule, Preventative Maintenance, and records for Manufacturing equipment.
* Performs Preventative Maintenance and coordinates Equipment Calibrations.
* Perform process improvement projects through building or procuring test equipment, designing and performing DOE.
* Assist with hands-on training of manufacturing employees on new products, tooling, equipment, and process revisions.
* Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality Management System.

Position Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in mechanics or equipment maintenance.
* Degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
* Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematics.
* Prior experience in medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
* Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO and FDA preferred.

Personal Requirements

* Ability to develop and execute a detailed test plan. Technical writing experience preferred.
* Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
