Description
MORC Inc. is seeking a full-time Human Resources(HR) Generalist to join our Team! If you have a passion for HR, have knowledge of Employment Law and desire to add valuable knowledge and skills to your career, this may be a great fit for you! As an HR Generalist you will coordinate a wide range of HR tasks, such as Leave of Absence, New Hire Administration, Recruiting and Credentialing. You will also act as a cultural ambassador and point of contact for Team Member inquiries on HR-related topics. The HR Generalist role is an important part of the overall goal of the MORC Human Resources Team to "Serve those who Serve others".

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors' degree in Human Resources related field or Business Management with courses related to Human Resources.
- One year of professional Human Resources experience, preferred.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment
- Collaborate with Leadership to coordinate and review interview questions and scheduling dates and times of interviews.
- Facilitates thorough hiring processes administration.
- Maintains Turnover Report and Employment tracking.
- Maintain Job postings process; additions, changes and removals.
- Ensure that the individuals selected meet credentialing requirements of the position and remain current on trends and changes in credentialing.
General Human Resource Functions
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Team as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
- Maintain data in necessary systems specific to job functions including but not limited to, HR Information System, Applicant Tracking System and Credentialing systems.
Leave of Absence
- Coordinate the Leave of Absence process. Determine eligibility, communicate required forms and documentation and monitor all processes associated with the leave.
- Maintain Leave of Absence tracking and follow-up.
- Maintain Short-term and Long Term disability requests.
- Monitor and maintain records of employee injuries and workers compensation claims.
- Prepare necessary forms to submit to workers compensation carrier for medical-only claims.
- Report all injuries to workers compensation carrier. Process all forms necessary to ensure claims are processed within established time frames.
- Maintain MIOSHA Form 300 Log and Summary of Occupational Injuries and Illness and post annual report as required by U.S. Department of Labor.
- Assist in maintaining records and gathering reports for annual workers compensation audit.
New Hire Administration
- Complete Pre-hire background checks and Licensing verifications.
- Gather pre-employment documents, i.e transcripts, references, documentation.
- Coordinate Pre-employment testing for TB, physical etc.
- Prepare Offer Letters and communications needed for New Hires.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
