Job description

TEKsystems has a client that is looking for a ServiceNow expert:

This resource will be working to provide oversight in the planning, evaluation, implementation and validation of new/emerging technologies. They will be leading the project with the manager and maintaining the technical teams. They will be responsible for providing recommendations and attaining design approval for new technologies and major enhancements to existing systems. They will be working with the customers to understand the main business objectives in order to meet requirements for the infrastructure standards.

Main duties will be to work across all modules with ITSM and managing the preferred IT Business Management methods. To be successful this resource will have worked with SNOW in environment for the last 5+ years, having already established this tool in their environment. Lastly they will be administering and implementing upgrades to ITBM, ITOM, ITSM and finding the solutions for the incident, change, asset management and cataloging the progress of the project.

• Data Center University (APC) associate Certification

• Microsoft MCSA

• HP Accredited Systems Engineer

• HP Master Accredited Systems Engineer

• HP Accredited Systems Administrator

• IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert-IBM systems Pseries

• IBM Certificed Systems Expert-IBM systems p5 Virtualization

• IBM Certified systems Expert-pseries HACMP for AIX 51

• IBM Certified systems Administrator-websphere Application Server network

• Deployment V6.01BM Certified System Administrator-websphere Application

• Server Network Deployment, V6.1

• IBM Certified system Administrator-websphere MZ V6.0

• IBM Certified Solution Designer

Strong knowledge of:

• Infrastructure architecture (Network, Integration)

• Tactical infrastructure technology

• Security and control procedures

• Relational database concepts

• Business process reengineering and technology application

Ability to:

• Apply similar prior experience to new issues to ensure effective problem solving

• Develop strong business relationships
