Job description

DTS is looking for experienced Purchasing Coordinator for a Direct Client position based in Detroit, MI.

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Sciences, Information Systems) preferred, associate degree and significant applicable work experience may be acceptable in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of purchasing procedures;
  • Basic knowledge of business principles and processes and office protocol;
  • Microsoft Operating System and Office Applications, including strong Excel skills;
  • Experience writing Request For Proposals (RFP) and Request For Quotes (RFQ) - Public sector experience a plus;
  • Highly effective and persuasive communication skills
