This is a temporary position. Expected to last no longer than the end of January.
*Job Description: Talent acquisition: technical recruiter
• Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and hiring managers on business workforce planning and staffing needs.
• Coach and train managers to objectively screen and select candidates while ensuring a smooth process throughout the recruiting process.
• Strategize with managers to create inclusive job descriptions for postings to meet critical job factors.
• Utilize proactive, creative, and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract candidates including maximizing a variety of recruiting resources.
Create and maintain a network of professional, community and college contacts to help identify, source, and engage industry leaders in building a qualified talent pipeline.
• Assist with implementation and ongoing updates of our Applicant Tracking System and onboarding platform
• Review resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge based on position requirements for internal and external candidates.
Pre-screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, coordinate assessments and recommend the most qualified individuals for hiring manager interviews.
• Prepare candidates and set expectations for interviews by providing detailed information on the company, position, location, compensation, benefits and job description details.
Coordinate panel interviews, assignments and debrief sessions for candidate finalists
• Ensure the hiring process and hiring managers follow Company policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations.
• Ensure completion of background checks and reference checks are completed for selected candidates.
Extend verbal and formal offers of employment including sending new hire letters and onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain records on recruiting activities to maintain compliance with record retention requirements.
Create and report on recruiting critical metrics such as effective hiring sources, time to fill, etc.
• Provide training, resources and presentations to hiring managers.
Represent the company in recruitment activities and hiring events.
• Proactively seek and research opportunities to add value through effective policies, new resources and new technology.
• Other duties as required

*Experience Required: • 5+ years Talent Acquisition experience • Automotive experience preferred • Technical recruitment experience preferred
*Education Required:
Bachelor degree. Human Resources, Org Development, Engineering preferred
