Infomatics, a Staffing, Professional and Consulting Services company headquartered in Farmington Hills Michigan, has a need for Business Development Professionals. Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking 3 experienced Business Development Managers/Professionals to join our dynamic and exciting team in Michigan and New Jersey.


Location: Michigan and New Jersey

As a Business Development Manager/Professional, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a revenue growth plan, while partnering with other sales related departments to determine the most effective way to grow the business. You will oversee the sales cycle process to include prospecting, cultivating, and managing opportunities. To excel in this role, you should have prior business development or sales experience, be an active listener and advisor, have a compelling personality, great customer service skills, comfortable with interacting with people at different levels of the organization, presentation skills and a hunger to pursue and close new business.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

A good Business Development Manager/Professional uses their leadership qualities to uphold their company's business goals, culture and contribute their ideas for continued growth of the organization.

As the Business Development Manager/Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Selling
  • Strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation
  • Delivering focused sales and marketing campaigns designed to drive aggressive revenue growth
  • Rigorously prospect for new business and follow up with leads in your pipeline
  • Outbound calling, e-mail, and text communication
  • Overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle
  • Planning and overseeing new market initiatives
  • Developing goals and business growth strategies and ensuring they are met
  • Contacting potential clients to establish business relationships
  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
  • Collaborate with Recruiting teams to ensure requirements are met
  • Manage sales number and profit goals
  • Have a strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Develop Statements of Work, quotes and proposal for clients

Business Development Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Five plus years of experience in Technical Sales, IT, Engineering, Healthcare or Pharma
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in IT, Engineering, Healthcare or Pharmacy
  • Has excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
  • Is dynamic, articulate, and well-spoken. Has a proven track record of business-to-business sales. Experience of medium to long cycle selling would be advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, proactive, and ability to handle uncertainty
  • Works independently
  • Goal driven
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using computers, smart phones, or tablets for various tasks
