Job description

The job requirements and candidate qualifications are:

Qualifications:

  • BS in Business or related field (or equivalent combination of work and education)
  • 7-10 years experience in direct recruiting function in a high volume environment placing candidates at all levels
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong negotiation abilities and follow-up skills
  • Ability to organize, plan and implement a creative pro-active recruiting strategy
  • Proven skill in phone and face to face interviewing techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of HR policy, procedure, federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Must have a successful background in sourcing and recruiting candidates based on job requirements
  • Must have a disciplined and strong work ethic
  • Must have experience working with a PC
  • Experience in resume mining, networking, cold calling and developing relationships is a must
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with candidates
  • Ability to utilize sub-contractor/partner vendor lists
  • Ability to work with off-shore recruiting assistance
  • Demonstrate a long and proven track record of recruiting in the IT and Engineering fields
  • Must be results oriented (measured by hires/month)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Should have at least 15 placements per year
  • Cover at least 85% of their assigned open jobs
  • Must be consistently and effectively communicating with the account Managers at all times regarding future and current openings, skill sets, and order coverage/priority
  • Work with Account Managers to drive new business
  • Act as team lead in the Resource Manager's absence, mentor all Recruiters with guidance from the Resource Manager
  • Have a strong track record of positive candidate submissions that meet client needs
  • Fully understand how Synergy makes money and exceed margin goals.
  • Need to have expert knowledge of all Synergy client skill sets and make accurate submittals
  • Review order specifications and notifications from Vendor Management or related systems
  • Coordinate and complete client specific placement paperwork and testing procedures
  • Work closely with Resource Manager and various operations/sales business partners to achieve desired staffing metrics
