Job description

As an Advance Local Account Planner with MLive Media group you will be part of a dynamic sales team driving advertising revenue for one of the country's largest privately-owned media companies. The Account Manager is responsible for the meticulous details behind the strategies that set up our clients for success. This position is focused on the planning, defining and managing of ad campaigns for our top level clients. Through market research, technical analysis, and a creative mindset, the Account Manager is at the center of successful executions of our key client initiatives, including both pre- and post-sale activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Passion for digital advertising and process driven
  • Minimum 2 years experience in sales operations, advertising operations, or account management role
  • Highly collaborative, dependable, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partners
  • Demonstrated customer focus mentality
  • Assertive, goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills, with the ability to accurately handle multiple simultaneous activities on tight deadlines
  • Results focused mindset with superior problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
  • Experience with salesforce.com highly desirable
  • Google Analytics certified required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of needs-based selling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to lead a team and manage resources

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Duties and Responsibilities, work schedules and/or location may change based on evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to strategy recommendations through market research, product estimates, and inventory analysis
  • Day to day communication with customers to gather essential information and routine questions and issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate discovery and proposal presentation builds with sales representative and supporting departments
  • Work closely with a variety of departments to troubleshoot client needs, ensure campaign performance toward KPIs, and coordinate the setups of campaigns and optimizations in a timely manner
  • Clearly articulate campaign results in a fashion that is meaningful to our clients
  • Understand and organize the many moving parts of an account, including quotes, targeting, performance, etc.
