NOW HIRING for a Client Services Technician at our Grand Rapids Location!

Pace Analytical is a leading environmental laboratory located in Grand Rapids, MI and is a member of the largest privately held environmental testing agency in the country. We are adding full-time team members to our Client Services Department This entry level position can begin your career in environmental science!

The successful candidate will have exposure to both our laboratory and field operations. We are looking for a candidate who is not afraid of mixing up their daily tasks, and who is eager to learn multiple functions of environmental testing - both inside and outside of the laboratory!

Schedule:

9am to 6pm
High probability of paid overtime

Tasks for the day:

Provides a variety of services using warehouse and lab support knowledge covering multiple areas of sample administration, including receiving, scanning, storage, preparation, shipping, and disposal.
Provides field services using standard field/environmental support knowledge in the collection and review of conditions, including taking samples, completing test kits, and taking, documenting, and communicating results. and related materials and information
Picks up, transports, and delivers samples, documents, materials, and other items as needed.
Reviews, completes, and processes standard degrees of logs, documents, and databases.
Using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
Additional duties as required

Attention to detail and teamwork are key!

Requirements:

High School Diploma
One year of experience in a lab or environmental setting is preferred.
Valid Driver's License.

Where you work:

Lab setting - subject to chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors, and related items in a lab and samples setting
Setting requires standing for extended periods of time
