Job description

Feyen Zylstra is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for our Grand Rapids, MI location. This is a full-time position in our Marketing Department reporting to the Director of Marketing. This position is an integral part of the marketing team which supports all branch offices and business units. We are seeking a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is well-versed in project management, digital marketing, and content management.


What you'll do:

  • Manage marketing platforms including Hubspot Marketing Hub, WebInsights/Lead Forensics, WordPress, SEMrush, and CodeTwo.
  • Lead digital content strategy, optimizing content and website for SEO.
  • Create and manage Google AdWords social media ads strategy.
  • Use marketing data (email, social, digital, and website) to identify new marketing communication opportunities that support FZ's market positioning strategy.
  • Work with marketing team to create and schedule quarterly Campaign Content Calendar, providing digital marketing insights and suggestions to inform content direction.
  • Work with business unit teams to manage and complete Requests for Proposals.
  • Work with Business Development Managers to record, track, and understand MQL trends.
  • Project manage the implementation and strategy around new marketing tools and systems.
  • Strategize and implement award submittals, advertising, and PR opportunities.
  • Work with marketing team to build and communicate FZ's story through digital content ideation.
  • Manage industry partner relationships, identifying opportunities for co-branding and cross promotion. Lead partner content opportunities and direction.
  • Manage and fulfill day to day requests for support, tools, and material.
  • Manage and assist in content production (photoshoots, video projects, etc.).
  • Provide customer event planning and logistical support.

Sound like you?

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a digital marketing and project management/communications/marketing position in an agency or marketing department.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communications, advertising/marketing, journalism, English, or public relations.
  • Intuitive and can make decisions independently.
  • Enjoys creating processes and learning new things.
  • Proactive and energized by fast-paced environment.
  • Builds relationships easily and enjoys talking with people over the phone/video chat, and in person.
  • Has a team player mentality and is willing to help out with any marketing activity.
  • Has a proven record of researching, comprehending, and reframing complex subject matter.
  • Personable.
  • Good writer.
  • Expertise in SEO, WordPress (or similar platform), Good Adwords, Google Analytics, LinkedIn ads, Facebook ads, and large scale CRM is a must.

This is a hybrid position, three days in the office minimum, subject to change.
