Job description

Service Express is looking to added a talented FP&A professional to our growing finance team! Our OpEx Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with all levels of management and across numerous regions to drive end-to-end planning, budgeting, reporting of expenses, as well as cash and capital expenditures.

Your role will be to communicate with team members and business partners to identify trends & opportunities, provide actionable insights & recommendations, and assist in implementations.

What You'll Do -

• Drive company wide financial initiatives and make recommendations to optimize performance
• Create an environment that enables informed decisions and the ability to effectively communicate financial information.
• Establish and maintain strong, cross-functional business relationships with leaders and individuals company wide, and clearly understand departmental goals through effective and collaborative teamwork.
• Work with cost center and finance leads budgeting operating expenses on an annual & bi-annual basis based on forecasting needs
• Identify opportunities and highlight risks in order to influence the attainment of targeted metrics
• Prepare accurate operating expense reporting, conduct monthly variance analysis and partner with cost center and finance leads to ensure monthly forecasts reflect understanding of key dynamics
• Support preparation for the Board meetings including financial forecast and results
• Improve Financial operations by identifying efficiency opportunities in both processes and systems
• Provide and present monthly and quarterly analytics to drive management attention to risks, opportunities, and performance against targets assessment.
  

What You'll Bring To The Table -

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of financial, planning and analysis experience
• Expertise in managing the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process across a global organization. Ability to design and implement evolving forecasting models for revenues, expenses, cash, capital expenditure.
• Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience serving as a strategic business partner to executive management (encompassing profit growth, revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives), including facilitating and at times driving vendor relationships to control cost and consolidate vendor spend.
• Prior hands-on experience and knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting to partner with Accounting in closing ledgers timely and accurately, in reviewing and validating Balance Sheet reconciliations, in implementing a sound software development capitalization policy.
• Strong communications skills interacting with all levels of the executive leadership team.
• M&A financial & sales operations due diligence and integration experience.
