The Marketing Analytics team is looking for a media analyst that will be responsible for supporting marketing efforts for programs within sectors (Residential, Small Business, and Large Commercial and Industrial) and key programs (Residential Demand Response, Demand Response, Pilots, and Energy Waste Reduction). The marketing campaigns for these products and programs are executed by both employees and external third-party contractors. This support will be in the form of identifying, extracting, cleansing, and transforming media data and metrics in support of outward focused marketing campaigns.

This role is going to be supporting media marketing analytics in forms of Radio, broadcasting, digital, etc. Responsible for communication the brand/image of the customer base accurately through advertising services and brand campaigns. This Media Analytics role needs to have an understanding of how media works, media metrics, and various media interfaces of media tools.

This is a new workstream so they need someone who can help with best practices and ideas- new trail being formed. Currently they are working with partners to start a new process where they are bringing media in house more. This team is setting up data feeds. Talking with SME on how they use media and data to improve media evaluation. Understanding of how campaigns are performed.

- Google Analytics & Campaign Manager 3600 understand double click, paid search, and organized search is captured and measured

- Identify where are things trafficked- how is leading to the data.

-Looking at the media data- help identify what has happened

This team is supporting all product marketing; i.e Smart Thermostat Program, Commercial and Industrial customers. They are also working closely with the Corporate Communication team that is responsible for brand advertising.

•Work with marketing managers and vendors to understand requirements and media channels and tactics and associated intended strategic intention of these channels and tactics of marketing campaigns

•Work in partnership with stakeholders to help define goals and KPIs based on strategic intention of the tactic

•Provide recommendations on effectiveness of channels and tactics for intended strategies

•Provide technical guidance on campaign set up to ensure proper measurement tracking

•Be able to measure performance to KPIs

•Make recommendations and enhancements to KPIs based on changes in technology

•Work with vendors to ensure tagging is done to standards and in a timely manner

•Track and measure results of campaigns

•Deliver timely data driven recommendations pertaining to campaign optimization

•Be key interface with vendors and internal stakeholders to address questions or provide perspective

•Develop charts and visualizations to support key metrics of campaigns

•Look for ways to innovate and improve processes

•Able to meet Service Level Agreements and deadlines

•Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality

•Propose solutions to improve processes and proactively drive resolution to those solutions

•Contribute to presentations for senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

•5+ years overall experience required

•2+ years of demonstrable experience working with data

•Experience using Excel

•Experience using Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics preferred

•Must be able to work with multiple data sources

•Must understand marketing and database concepts as they relate to media

•Understanding of data relationships, data attribution, and data extraction techniques (like SQL)

•Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising or related field

•Familiarity with Digital Marketing and Digital Media

•Strong business acumen

•Good communication skills and ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

•Works well with technical, marketing and management teams

•Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail - including establishing QA processes

•Strong commitment to meeting deadlines

•Self-starter and intellectually curious

•Comfortable in pushing the conventional thinking to drive change and innovation

•Understanding of the relationship between business requirements and business objectives to actionable recommendations

•Comfortable working in data and in strategy, in the details of the data as well as in understanding the overall ecosystem of a campaign and how the associated media tactics work together to achieve goals

•Comfortable with metrics, measurements

•Passion for data and analytics

•Ability to assist in the development of the measurement strategy
