TEKsystems is helping a well-known enterprise level company in Lansing, MI identify a Vulnerability Management Analyst to join their team. This is a 12-month+ contract with potential to be brought on as an FTE. Additionally, while this position offers remote work, this person must be on-site 3x's week.

Description

The Vulnerability Management Analyst provides technical expertise required to assess applications and infrastructure for exploitable vulnerabilities. The analyst will stay informed of advances in attacker techniques and how new and legacy vulnerabilities are leveraged within real-world attacks. The analyst will provide feedback for improvements to tools and processes as needed. The analyst plans, executes, and assesses vulnerability output to provide comprehensive reports documenting the details of vulnerabilities, their potential impact, and suggested remediation needed to manage risk. The analyst works independently across functional groups within

Information Security to ensure that the company's overall security posture is sound. Coordinate with other departments and teams to improve information security alignment with company goals and objectives.
