About the Role

In this role you will work with the business partners to identify and understand their needs, assess the impact of the system, process changes and document the same.

Use Business Process Modeling techniques and methods to capture the requirements.

Participate in the solution selection process by Defining the requirements, Develop selection methodologies/scoring.

Work with Solution architects from Digital organization, Functional leaders from Business and build consensus to find the right and acceptable solution.

This position is accountable for deliverables in Business Requirements, Training and User Acceptance testing phases of PLM projects.

The primary focus area will be Engineering projects to start with focus on Engineering to start with PLM system and possibly ALM in near future).

What You Will Do

Strategic competencies

• Envision creative solutions to business challenges through constant analysis of the organization's strategic business needs
• Conduct ROI and benefits assessment on initiatives

Project-related competencies

• Initiation & Planning
• Own the business case. Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects
• Engage in pre-project prep work with the business unit integrators and business leadership to form business goals that lay the foundation for business requirements gathering
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis

Project Execution

• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
• Critically evaluate and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow
• Lead Regression Testing, UAT planning and execution with business and IT

Closing

• Obtain business alignment. Facilitate troubleshooting of remaining issues and bring conclusion
• Actively participate in training strategy, planning, and coordinated execution.
• Actively engage the power users from the business teams in training the end users
• Manage training material development with vendor
• Provide Post go live support coordination
• Post go live issues resolution

Professional competencies

• Change Management and Communication

What You Need

• Bachelor's Degree required with 10+ years of experience in PLM, supply chain and manufacturing solutions
• Certifications on Lean Business methodologies
• Strong understanding of the System Development Lifecycle and the ability to manage each phase of the lifecycle to completion.
• Hands on experience in being a BA for a PLM tool Implementation for a manufacturing company - Seimens-Teamcenter, PTC, Dassaultsystem, etc.
• PMP or other equivalent certification

What is Nice to Have

• Business Analysis certification CBAP® or equivalent

• Masters Degree / MBA from a top-tier school preferred

• Professional consulting experience

• Ability to influence and drive change throughout the organization

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $67,555.00 - $133,727.00 per year

• Teamcenter: 5 years (Preferred)
• PLM: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Business Analysis certification CBAP® or equivalent (Preferred)
