Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Kelly Services is currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk. Ideal candidate will have a keen insight for detail, the ability to effectively communicate while tracking inventory levels and handling all aspects of warehouse shipping & receiving protocols

**Hourly Rate:** $16-$18 (based on experience)

**Hours:** Full Time M-F (9:30 am - 6:00 pm)

**Work Location:** Plymouth, MI

**Assignment Length** : ASAP - Nov 2022

**Duties include but not limited to**

+ Use SAP to perform all shipping & receiving functions

+ Unload's materials, counts items received or shipped and checks against packing lists

+ Records any discrepancies

+ Returns defective components to vendor(s)

+ Processes claims for lost or damaged materials

+ Conduct routine cycle counting to ensure inventory counts remain accurate

+ Responsible for coordinating freight shipments per internal and external requirements

+ Monitors freight carriers to ensure we maintain a network of cost-effective and reliable carriers

+ Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand always

+ Participates in after-hours rotation to provide support for urgent parts needs

+ Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management

+ Adhere to all company guidelines

**Requirements:**

+ High school graduate or equivalent required

+ Minimum 2 years of related experience

+ SAP experience is a plus

+ Must maintain Valid Driver's License

+ Communicate orally with management and other co-workers is crucial

+ Occasional overnights as needed

+ Sitting or standing for an extended period

+ Ability to climb stairs and ladders in order to stock and collect materials

+ SAP experience is a plus

+ Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods

+ Heavy lifting may be expected. Exertion of up to 50 lbs.
