Job description
Job Summary
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive/planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic system, cylinders and valves, air compressors, and responsible for plant facility equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot assembly line equipment and EOL vision tester.
Support production start-up.
Transfer day's event to next shift maintenance technician.
Daily maintenance report write-up.
Review daily maintenance reports with the maintenance & ME team.
Create EWO (Emergency Work Order) after completion of maintenance troubleshooting.
Write-up 5-Why report as needed.
Share lessons learned.
Perform scheduled PM tasks.
Update eMaint PM task after completion.
Daily walk-through of air compressor room.
Support main grease line. (Until Operation group is fully capable).
Consult AM (Autonomous Maintenance) program with Operation team.
Consult CILR (Clean Inspect Lubricate & Retighten) program with Operation team.
Continuously update AM, PM, and CILR write-ups every six months.
Update AM & PM whiteboard regularly.
5S Maintenance room, Spare Parts room, and office.
Monthly spare parts audit.
Order parts as needed.
Support daily maintenance & ME meetings.
Miscellaneous operator training. (Until Operation group is fully capable)
Quality support. (Until Quality group is fully capable)
Perform daily maintenance report repair/replace log.
OEE improvement support.
Continuous improvement.

Early Equipment Maintenance
Lead safety, health & environment awareness.
Propose cost savings idea.
Support maintenance BPI (Business Plan Initiatives).
Be able to troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and replace the OETIKER pincer tool.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Provide on-site technical support during startup and commissioning of new installations.
Able to work flexible shifts as the need arises.
Establish and maintain standards and maintenance of equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
Actively engage in continuous improvement by leading business process improvement efforts plant-wide.
Address questions and provide information related to project concerns to the company and vendors.
Develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures.
Identify problems and implement cost-effective solutions.
Provides instruction in operation, set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Education & Language Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma combined with relative work experience is required.
Prefer 3+ yrs. experience in a mechanical maintenance capacity.
Strong background in mechanical, fluid power troubleshooting, and repair.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance practices.
Strong Safety knowledge and awareness.
Language:English (Fluent). Korean and/or Spanish are a plus.
Required Experience 3 + years within the Maintenance field

Physical Requirements and Demands Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
