Job description

Please note this is not an HR Manager position handling typical HR Functions.
This position is a Human Resource BUSINESS PARTNER role.

* You will be partnering with all of the Directors from the Operations department across a multi-plant manufacturing company. Each Plant has its own HR manager and team, your role is not with them, but with the executives at Corporate aligning their business strategies to each department. With manufacturing being the largest
* Work with Directors on Business Plan
* May be revising Organization charts - Work with the Operations leadership team to define the organizational and people related development needs, design and facilitate solutions.
* May be figuring out what type of employees are needed to fill current future openings (not the actual recruiting of these folks)
* Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate people programs and processes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible (i.e., Org design, talent strategies, talent acquisition, etc)
* Develop and implement resourcing and talent strategy for Corporate and Plant Operations that ensures we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
* Current and ex-employee surveys are deployed throughout the year, reviewing these and setting up action plans
* Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
* Acts as a change agent by recommending innovative approaches to continually improve efficiency of the department

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

* Minimum 3 years of broad HR Management experience
* BS degree in HR
* Previous experience in human resources, professional development, and training, or employee relations a plus at the corporate level
* HR certification such as PHR, SPHR or GPHR are a plus
* MUST have experience supporting industrial operations functions (e.g. - Production/Quality/Supply Chain/Manufacturing)
