Job description

Position Specific Responsibilities (PSR):

  • Assists Account Manager for all customer matters as related to accounts
  • Assists commercial lead on all elements including filling out customer forms and inputting the data in customer systems, monitoring target pricing where applicable
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining tracking document for receipt of purchase orders and tooling orders
  • Builds and maintains relationships with an assigned group of customer accounts that typically includes a limited number of major customers, suppliers and internal plant contacts
  • Supports Account representative by gathering data for input into presentations for internal and external customers
  • Supports meetings with the customer's buyers to understand their needs
  • Support new business development with existing customers and/or identify areas of improvement
  • Handle confidential information on a regular basis; uphold confidentiality and build trust in Management
  • Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:

  • BS/BA required

Experience:

  • Requires 3+ years (supporting a Major OEM)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Good Organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
