Job description

The Manager of FP&A is a result-oriented professional who will work collaboratively across the business to drive enhanced reporting capabilities, insight, and strategic projects to improve profitability.


The successful candidate will coach a team of finance professionals, independently interacting with Senior Management to consolidate and analyze monthly actuals and forecasts, establish and measure key-financial targets, and develop two-year budget and five-year strategic plans. Also, you will assist in the preparation of written/graphical financial and operational information for monthly operation reviews, banking initiatives, and Board of management material.


Job Description:


  • Manage the company's annual budget process, including developing key assumptions, working with business partners to ensure budgets are appropriate, and that operational partners establish action plans that achieve the necessary financial performance
  • Leverage analyses to ensure that the company meets its financial expectations and make certain Senior Management leadership is fully aware of financial results by managing the company's ongoing forecast process Support the Corporate Finance team by providing financial reports, analysis, forecasting and other financial support as required.
  • Support strategic business decision making through data analysis
  • Manage the monthly forecasts and reporting presentation.
  • Analyze KPIs variances (versus budget and prior year) and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Prepare various financial reporting materials for executive leadership which include weekly flash, monthly forecast, monthly Board of Director report, budget presentation, external party presentations
  • Support periodic reporting and ad hoc requests from OEMs, banks, and other external parties
  • Communicate effectively with finance personnel at Corporate and plant levels, as well as with other Corporate management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis. Develop and implement tools for efficient analytical capabilities
  • Develop the 3 and 5-year long-range plans


Requirements:


  • Bachelors and/or master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, CPA preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive financial experience in a multinational business
  • Strong finance and accounting background
  • Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and propose creative solutions
  • Advanced excel skills: pivot table, VLOOKUP, macros
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion a plus
  • Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
