Job description
The Financial Shared Services
(FSS) AR Analyst supports Accounts Receivable for Kelly's customers in North
America (US, Canada, and Puerto Rico).
This position includes
performing work instructions specific to the department within the FSS
organization to ensure accuracy and timeliness of service and product
delivery. The position requires the
ability to work independently with people of multiple grade levels throughout
Kelly as well as external customers to ensure that specific job requirements
are met or exceeded. The position requires the ability to research in-depth
business processes and customer issues with the objective of reaching
resolutions that meet or exceed objectives with a positive financial impact to
the company without negatively impacting customers. Persons in this position
will be expected to recommend changes to management of existing processes where
efficiencies can be gained without negatively impacting customers. This position will support several complex
tool-based accounts in Accounts Receivable. Analyst must be proficient in excel
with the ability to work & independently analyze multiple tool-based
accounts.
Responsibilities:
+ Regularly analyze data, analyze businessprocesses, analyze customer issues, reconcile accounts, monitor, audit, andaccurately assess AR concerns/risk to limit bad debt, reduce past due dollars,and reduce DSO. For some customer accounts, may also include processing andauditing customer billing within the required deadlines.
+ Communicate directly with internal and externalcustomers to resolve AR issues. This may include facilitating meetings withappropriate members/levels of the organization. This includes purposefullypursuing collection of past due balances while maintaining positive customerrelationships.
+ Assist with special projects, as defined bymanagement. Identify and implement efficiencies within the department wherepossible.
+ Maintain account instructions by documenting allprocesses and procedures.
+ Ability to consult, analyze, and communicaterecommendations.
+ Ability to develop work instructions/trainingmanuals.
+ Strong written and verbal communicationskills.
+ Ability to analyze information and makerecommendations based on data.
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multipleprojects or tasks.
+ Effective time management skills.
Preferred
Middle Office Knowledge - Basic understanding of accounts receivable,
payroll, billing, and SSPA systems (FSS roles) or knowledge and management of third-party
VMS technology.

Qualifications Required:
+ Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
+ 3 year of experience in Accounting, Business,Finance, Accounts Receivable, Billing or Payroll.Experience with high volume, high dollarcollections preferred.
