You are a Full-Charge Bookkeeper with at least five years of experience, looking for a full-time position with a property management company. You enjoy working independently, are self-motivated, and enjoy working on new projects without a lot of direction. If this sounds like you, please apply!

Who Are We?

AGM Management LLC is an 80-person property management company that operates apartment buildings throughout the United States. We are growing rapidly and need someone organized and flexible, who enjoys working on a diverse array of projects. The position will work full-time out of our Troy, Michigan headquarters.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

• Perform bookkeeping in QuickBooks for twelve to fifteen entities
• Review and approve invoices entered into QuickBooks
• Enter invoices that are presented to you, such as insurance bills, mortgage bills, etc.
• Ensure that all receivables and payables are coded to the correct general ledger
• Reconcile the monthly vacancy, tenant receivables, and security deposit statement with the reports.
• Enter the prepaid bills via journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements, escrow accounts, and petty cash,
• Prepare replacement reserve draws
• Reimburse payroll, payroll taxes, healthcare costs, and American Express

Requirements/Preferences:

• 4+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Proficient with QuickBooks required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
